Funny tongue open on one side only - difficult to get on. Has a bulky rubbery feel with a cheap rubbery smell. Bling bling numeral 5 and letters are unecessary. Some separation of glued toe cover after only five rides. Nylon fabric lace guide at top is likely to tear or pull loose. The redeeming quality is stiff tacky soles. The shoes are usable, but I wil keep searching next time.
Excellent grip on the peddles, and well put together. This shoe seems like it will last for some time.My only dislike is the "big" tongue. I'm old school (43 years)and don't like that style, but pull the laces tight and it hides pretty well. I've owned Van's my whole life, and these shoes blow them away!
Love the shoe. I had to get .5 size larger than normal but feels great and really sticks like glue. I haven't had them long but they seem well constructed.
If you're looking for a pair of shoes that provide decent ankle ......
