These shoes are adorable and are perfectly functional for an every day shoe. I wear them all day for work and have no problems. However, I'm not a fan of them as a running shoe. They are fairly stiff and the shoestrings loosen up quickly and come untied making me stop to tie them. I haven't seen any other reviews stating this, but I felt that they run a little big. I also don't really know that I'd consider this a "minimalist" shoe. It just feels like a cheap Big Box Store shoe to me when running.
I am returning these shoes, although they look cute, the have very little to no support. I have tried wearing them a few times and each time I have sore feet, hurt knees and a sore back. I love asics running shoes, but these are not good for running or walking!!!!
