The first pair I wore were comfortable with a good fit. The second pair I tried, one sock was the appropriate size whereas the other was quite a bit smaller. I kept trying to "stretch" it out so it would fit the same as the other. I would have expected better quality control from Hanes.

I know, I know, these are just sport socks, but they are the nicest I've ever owned. I wear an 8.5 and I never thought I needed to get the extended size, but it really did make a difference - these socks don't slip off my heel at all. Also, they are thick and cushioned and incredibly comfortable. I plan on throwing out all my other socks and just replacing them all with these, they are THAT good!

I got these socks because I have a l o n g, narrow foot and wanted a sock with light cushioning. This sock fits the bill.
